Flourish

The heart of God the Father is that His sons and daughters would flourish in Christ. If we are being honest, most Christians are not actually flourishing. Here is why. If you evade the principals, you will not receive the promises! In Psalm 92 there are a few very simple keys to flourishing in the kingdom. In fact, there is a progression of flourish, flourish, flourishing. The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree,“He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishingTo declare that the Lord is uprightHe is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. [Psalm 92:12–15] It’s very important to remember that righteous living leads to human flourishing. Sin, although may feel pleasurable for a season, is dehumanizing and destructive. When you seek the Kingdom first and his righteousness, God himself will add to you. Even in persecution you are blessed and flourishing from God’s perspective because in suffering, the spirit of glory rests on you. Even in martyrdom, you are storing up for yourself a crown of life that one day you can lay at the feet of Jesus. Another key to flourishing is being planted in the house of the Lord. God plants you to prosper you and there is no better place to prosper than in God’s house. Many people are robbing themselves because they are not planted in the house of the Lord. Remember what happened to the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-31) when he left his Father’s house? Nothing good. The good things started when he went back to his Father’s house. Some of you are being called back to the Father’s house, while others are being encouraged to come and remain. When you are living right and planted in the presence of the Lord, you will flourish even in your old age. Your flourishing is a declaration and a manifestation that the Lord is upright and there is no unrighteousness in Him! If you live righteously and remain planted in the house of the Lord, you will prosper. Don’t let the waiting wear you out. Don’t get weary in well doing. Stay planted so you can prosper in Jesus name!
